It’s been forever since I’ve done a friend Friday post, I’ve missed it so I’m getting back on the horse with this post!. Outfit planning is near and dear to my heart, I love any opportunity to spend time in my closet and what better way to spend time there then to dream up outfits to wear.
For those who don’t know how this goes I answer a set of questions that all participants have been given to answer, so here we go.
1. How do you go about picking your outfit for the day? (Do you lay
stuff out the night before? Do you plan a whole week’s worth of looks
Sunday night? Do you wing it every morning?)
When I was employed outside the home I did plan my outfits for the week, it was just easier when I prepared my family’s clothing to get my own stuff together as well. I sometimes adjusted the outfit depending on the weather or How I felt that morning. Now that I am a SAHM (for now) I more flow with what will be going on in my day.
2. Do you try stuff on and then take pics to see how it looks, like
Cher in Clueless?
Nah, it sounds like it could be fun but too much work!
3. And are you consistent in your planning or lack thereof, or is your
planning limited to special events?
When I plan I am consistent in my planning but since I’m not, I only plan when something is going on that I want to look extra special for. And I always plan for special occasions.
4. Do you have a way of keeping track of which outfits you wore when?
Nothing formal, it’s all in my head.I rarely forget what I previously wore. My issue is usually not to repeat it because I liked it so much.
5. How do you come up with new clothing combinations? (An app?
Computer program? Trial and error?)
A little trial and error mixed with some gazing into my closet hoping some brilliant combination will magically appear. But I am not opposed to trying out an app or a computer program, you know I ‘m sucka for a good app.
