It’s said that accessories that make the outfit and that was never more true than in this instance.  I wore this to church yesterday before the season makes black look oh so heavy , the dress is the twin to the coral dress I wore here.  Once upon a time I would have never mixed black and brown together but my style has developed and I wear a lot of things I would never have worn before.  This dress can be worked in a multitude of ways, it is truly a basic but never boring black dress, classic and timeless.

By the way I’ve been toying with the idea of combining my other blog into this one with a separate category just for that blog.  It is really difficult to maintain two blog and do both of them justice, one always gets more care than the other.  My daughter’s blog is not getting the care it deserves, so I think it would be better for me if I brought them together.  Readers can choose to read the posts about her or not since I always preface my non fashion post with the title, Fashion Break.  Please tell me what do you think.  My other blog is located here.

And lastly thank you for reading my thoughts, looking at my photos and just being supportive of everything I do….I appreciate you more that you could ever know.

Go forth and please…Be stylish

Well you completely nailed this! I love the idea of all black and then change it up with accessories. I also think you showed how all of us can take a basic black Walmart dress and make it look designer! LOVE this! ~Serene

Serene my budget is so limited I have to work with what I’ve fit so when I see something that fits my budget I snap it up no matter where I see it at then chic it up. Thank you.
