Natural Hair

Who am I? ...I am a wife, mother of 6, grandmother of 2, minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ, passionate traveler (serious beach bum) who loves life and attempts to live it to the fullest.

The older I get the more comfortable I am with myself,my loves, my likes, my dislikes, my gifts, talents and natural abilities. I accept my quirks and idiosyncrasies as a part of who I am but ever mindful and willing to grow, adapt and change when necessary.

I am a work in progress, and I am enjoying the journey in spite of how challenging it can be day to day, hour by hour, sometimes even moment to moment. It has yet to appear what I shall finally be, but I am completely confident that One who has created me, will not be satisfied until I have been perfected in the image of His son, Jesus Christ.(My paraphrase of Philippians 1:6)

I wear a lot of hats...wife, mother, grandmother, minister and I love the roles that I play. I also love fashion but more importantly I love style. Style is about how you choose to present yourself to the world by way of fashion. I believe everyone has style, it just has to be activated and brought forth. I have passion for Jesus Christ and fashion, can't I have both? Blogging my way through myths and preconceived notions of what a Christian woman and minister should look like.
